Here at Bow Lane Dental Practice we are proud to have a dental laboratory on our premises, which is called RichArt Dental Studio. Gifted technicians are committed to offering high quality cosmetic solutions for all your dental needs. They are highly skilled at creating a natural looking smile for you.

This state of the art lab is fully equipped with top of the range equipment and computer software enabling us to match all your ceramic work perfectly with your natural teeth. RichArt Dental Studio is also situated on-site, for your convenience, in our newly refurbished and custom made laboratory situated on the top floor of the practice. If during the process of having any ceramic work made, we need to make any adjustments to the shape, colour or texture, owner and master technician Richard O’Brien is on hand for all your aesthetic needs.

The many Dental Restorations our Technicians create on a daily basis include Inlays, Crowns, Veneers, Bridges, Implant Crowns and Dentures.

They are highly skilled in matching colour and shape to your natural teeth and being within our building, they are able to meet all our patients and see their teeth for themselves.

If any changes need to be made when the time comes for the Dentists to fit the restorations; the technicians are on hand to do so immediately, eliminating the waiting time which is wasted in postage.

This is a major advantage because if something needs adjusting such as colour or fit, it can be done all under one roof. Otherwise the work needs to be sent back to the laboratory, wherever it may be, and the patient needs to come back another day.

Our Dental Technicians

Richard O’Brien

Richard qualified in 1993 before receiving his Masters Degree in Dental Technology in Cologne in 2000, qualifying best in his year.

He is the Managing Director of RichArt Dental Studio Ltd and specializes in creating a perfect and unique smile for you. In 2009 he was awarded ‘Highly Commended Aesthetic Technician’ by the Industry Smile Awards. He was also the Technician for Dr. Ilan Preiss who won 2009 Restorative Smile, 2010 Conservative Ceramic Smile and Dr. Zaki Kanaan who won 2010 Highly Commended Single Implant Smile.

Andre O’Brien

Andre has been working at RichArt Dental Laboratory as a dental technician apprentice since 2007. He enjoys all aspects of aesthetic dentistry.

Carmen Höpping

Carmen completed her qualification in Germany in 2000 before working for 5 years for an Orthodontic Laboratory and Maxillo Facial Surgeon. Her main focus has been Aesthetic and Cosmetic Porcelain/Ceramic restorations since 2006.
