Many people clench their jaw and/or grind their teeth. Some people do it while they are asleep and aren't even aware of it. There are two types of appliance that we use to treat you. One is a short term solution that is a tiny plastic mouth piece that fits on the two front teeth. The other covers the top surfaces of all of the teeth in one jaw and are more permanent. They both can help alleviate headaches, migraine pain, shoulder, jaw or neck pain and can also reduce the force of grinding and thus limit wear and damage to your teeth. |
