Many people only think about booking a dental check-up when they are in some kind of dental discomfort. At that point, however, it is already too late as pain is a sign that something needs treatment.
Instead, make it a practice to visit the dentist for routine check-ups before anything bad can happen. This way, you will have the chance to prevent potential issues before they cause inconvenient disruptions to your life and finances.
We recommend that you aim to have a dental check-up at least once per year, but twice per year would be ideal. Some patients need to visit the dentist even more frequently to manage problems such as gum disease or tooth decay.
I have been a patient at Bow Lane Dental for 16 years. James is a saint in my opinion and they have literally transformed my life.
Bow Lane is an excellent dental clinic! Everyone is professional and skilled. Relatedly, I highly recommend Brooke Shippe - she is an extremely talented and thorough dental hygienist.
Sarah the Hygienist Specialist is such an amazing and elegant care provider. Every visit I feel my teeth become brand new. Thank you Sarah the best ever!
Regular visits to your dentist give us an opportunity to evaluate your oral health and treat any problems before they get worse. The quicker a problem is diagnosed, the easier it is to fix, and often without the need for anaesthesia.
During every dental check-up we carry out an 8-point oral health check. We look at the health and function of your teeth, gums and jaw to make sure your oral health is the best it can be.
Gum disease and tooth decay is the most common global disease affecting every family. Over 80% of cavities occur in those hard-to-reach areas and food is left trapped after every meal. This is why regular appointments with one of our dental hygienists in London are so beneficial; our hygienists can reach all the places that the common toothbrush cannot!
Our friendly and experienced award-winning are simply second to none. As a dental and orthodontist practice, we’ve provided high quality, private dentistry services in the City of London since 2001. And since then, we’ve improved and maintained smiles for hundreds of patients across the capital.
So whether you’re coming for a dental check-up or any other dental service you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.
There are lots of reasons for being anxious about a dental visit. You may have had a bad experience in the past, or perhaps simply dislike the lack of control. There is often a sense of embarrassment about letting anyone see your teeth, while many people have a fear of the actual dental treatment. Whatever the reasons and however extreme, at Bow Lane we understand our patients’ fears.
Our dentist London is situated on Bow Lane, between Cheapside and Watling Street. The nearest tube stations are Mansion House, Bank and St. Paul’s, and Moorgate overground station is also close by. We are surrounded by some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, London Bridge, and the Barbican Centre.
Of course! Most of our patients work in central London and find it easier to fit their dental appointments and treatment around their working day by visiting a dental practice close to their office, rather than home. We are easy to get to via public transport and offer early morning appointment times to suit your schedule.
