We are shocked by the number of children every day who are having teeth removed due to tooth decay. Dental disease is PREVENTABLE.
We’re working with the City of London Corporation to educate under 5’s in the borough on healthy eating and oral care, some of whom have never seen a dentist before.
Through The Smile Squad we take a team of oral educators into schools and nurseries to show them a friendly dental team. We have visited toddler groups in the Barbican Library, Shoe Lane Library and Artizan Street Library. Nurseries – Goldman Sachs ChildCare, Hatching Dragons Nursery and Building Blocks. Also schools at SmithField House and City of London School for girls.

We are looking at practical alternatives to sugar as rewards for children.
We run Sugar Awareness Campaigns and 30 day sugar free challenges to build awareness in our community.
We have created packs for children containing 4 toothbrushes (to be changed every 3 months), toothpaste, an activity booklet and information on ways to reduce sugar in their diets.
