Your first appointment is an important two-way communication between our specialists and yourself in order to discover all the concerns you might have about your mouth, whether large or small. We would like to find out your wants and desires for your mouth, teeth and smile. If you have any timescale we want to make sure it is all completed in time.
We do not provide check-ups; we carry out comprehensive 8 point oral health checks to look at the following:
- Your neck, muscles and glands in your neck
- Inside your mouth- cheeks, palate and tongue
- Jaw joint
- Your bite
- Digital computerised records of your teeth and any dental work
- Condition of your gums
- Digital Xrays to check for disease
- Photographs- of your teeth and smile
If you are thinking about cosmetic improvements to your smile, you will not only meet your dentist but your technician who is designing your new smile. Once your Bow Lane dentist has gathered all the relevant information, they will produce a written treatment plan along with prices and an estimate of time needed to return your mouth to health. They will discuss any possible maintenance required and how to maintain the guarantees on our work.
