Laura is our Marketing and Social Media Manager who has helped private companies, start-ups and non-profits grow their personal and professional brands.
Before moving into Marketing and #socialmedia, Laura worked in the film industry for several years. Storytelling is in her DNA and having studied Film at the University of the Arts London, she understands the power of imagery and communications.
Laura is also a kickboxer (but she always leaves her gloves at the dojo). She is a thrill seeker, loves to explore different cultures, traveling and meet new interesting people.
Seeing Piccadilly Circus for the first time. Pretty underwhelming – it was under construction.
Easy. Make it a 4-day week. Two day weekends are way too short!
Any of the museums or cultural buildings in London. Including Somerset house, The Barbican or Southbank Centre.
You can make your life hard now and easy later or make your life easy now and harder later.
Basically, it means that you can get things done when you are supposed to, work hard in life and then collect the fruits of your work – e.g., retire with enough money and knowing that you have lived to the fullest. Or you can have it easy now, but most likely stress and panic later on in life. I think about it every day, even on small things – it’s pretty good to avoid procrastination too.
I truly can’t think of any but I doubt I am that self-disciplined. Or maybe I am!
I don’t have a bucket list. When I want to do something or go somewhere I make a plan to make it happen.
